Starting from panning gold out of sand, you’ll soon build factories and keep expanding them, unlocking new technologies and production chains as you industrialize the planet. There are countless paths to develop! Want to dive deep into processing and logistics inside a rapidly growing factory? Want the local fauna to work for your production lines? Or focus on hunting artifacts, trading rare resources for unexpected advantages? By the way, launch pads can also be repurposed as mining rigs. Start from a simple, reliable conveyor belt; add filters, drones, pipes, pumps and many more components; and finally build an automated industrial paradise that conquers nature itself.

Lay out huge networks of conveyor belts and lifts to keep your production lines humming. But remember: omnipresent, fine and tough sand will keep causing you trouble. Resources in Sandustry react with everything around them — heated ice melts into water, boiling water turns into steam that rises skyward, and if you let it drift up, it comes back down as rain. Sand absorbs water from its surroundings, slowly drying out the already limited water supply, but in return you get wet sand to pan for gold. Watered seeds bloom into flowers — set them on fire and you can refine extraordinarily rare resources.
