GuaQi MCP: Let AI Manage Your WordPress Site, GuaQi 2.3.24 Update Notes

GuaQi 2.3.24 adds MCP support, letting AI manage WordPress content through natural language, complete multilingual content and SEO, and keep items as drafts for review. It also includes local development, filters, async indexing, cache improvements, inquiry features, and more.

GuaQi has always aimed to do two things well: stay powerful and remain easy to use. The new GuaQi MCP feature in this release takes that goal a big step forward.

You can now manage WordPress content with natural language. For example, you can tell AI: “Create a product for me named “Apple Gift Card”, priced at 199 yuan, virtual product, no shipping required, supports points purchase, place it in the “Gift Cards” category, complete all other languages, and save it as a draft first.

In the old workflow, you would open your computer, enter the WP admin area, fill out a pile of forms, and check each setting one by one. Now these repetitive steps can be handled by a tireless WordPress assistant. You only need to describe what you want. It can create the content, fill in the fields, and save the draft according to your instructions. Whether you are commuting, lying in bed, or traveling, you can take out your phone, explain what you want to publish in WordPress, and let AI handle the execution.

Later, MCP will continue to connect with order statistics, performance summaries, customer behavior analysis, automatic ticket replies, and more. The interesting part is not only that it can “write content for you”, but that it can take over many repetitive, detailed, and accuracy-sensitive tasks in site operations.

How GuaQi Helps with SEO and GEO

I have also started using GuaQi for my own side projects. During development, planning, and research, I found that several GuaQi features are useful for both SEO and GEO. Here are a few practical notes from real use.

Search engines prefer focused professional sites

Modern search engines rarely judge ranking based on a single article. They look at the whole site: its topic, content structure, and level of specialization. If one site contains game assets, free software, license keys, gift cards, and many other unrelated virtual resources, the topic becomes scattered. When users search for gift cards, a dedicated gift card site is usually more likely to rank well.

In GuaQi, you can assign different resource types, such as game assets, free software, and gift cards, to different top-level domain frontends. Each frontend can focus on one resource type, making the content theme clearer and easier for search engines to understand. If you want to run 10 different sites, you are essentially managing 10 categories. You do not need to run 10 WordPress installations on the server or switch between multiple admin dashboards. Combined with GuaQi MCP, content creation and multilingual completion can be handled through conversation, giving you much more freedom in operations.

Active and passive information submission

GuaQi includes llms.txt and single-page .md files, so search engines and AI crawlers can access accurate page information more smoothly. From my access logs, search engines and AI crawlers visit frequently and crawl pages in a timely way, which indirectly shows that this mechanism works.

Comment AI summaries plus GuaQi MCP are also a way to actively submit your site content to AI. Even when a site has only been online for a few days, it may already be recognized when you ask related questions in an AI tool.

More flexible structures and less repetition

Traditional WordPress themes usually have fixed page structures and URL formats, and most users cannot easily make deep changes. When the same theme is used by many people for similar websites, search engines may consider those sites structurally too similar. For example, if site A is a game download site and site B is also a game download site, their content and titles may differ, but the page structure and URL pattern may still look close enough to be treated as related or insufficiently distinct.

GuaQi pages are built with a builder, so page structure and URLs can both be customized. This flexibility is useful for operations, and it also helps each site develop a more recognizable and trustworthy shape in the eyes of search engines.

GuaQi 2.3.24 Update Notes

  • The builder now adds the guaqi.test local development domain and a local development mode. You can install a local WordPress and Node environment with one command. Tutorial: https://guaqi.com/docs/75993
  • The builder adds appearance controls for cart, checkout, publishing, and related pages, including page width and border radius.
  • The builder adds common container settings and common section settings. After a container or section enables “common configuration”, it can reuse the shared settings.
  • Article lists, product lists, link lists, and document lists now include a “related posts” switch. Once enabled, you can display related posts on article pages using existing list styles.
  • A global filter module has been added, with built-in search and sorting. It supports filtering articles, products, links, documents, topics, and more. Smart filtering can be done with filter terms, so you do not need to add custom fields to articles just for filtering.
  • A new event module can highlight and scroll a specific event. For example, if you have five events, you can highlight “user received a trial membership” as the scrolling featured event.
  • The comment list now supports a masonry layout.
  • GuaQi plugin adds Robots settings under “GuaQi Plugin – General Settings”.
  • Full refreshes, plugin setting saves, WP admin article/comment/category updates, and smart search indexing now use a unified async process and no longer block the main process. Saving settings, publishing posts, and updating content feel smoother, while synchronization and indexing run asynchronously in the background. Bulk collection and publishing also become lighter.
  • Nuxt-side cache logic has been optimized, WP-side GraphQL query depth and query string volume have been reduced, and the GuaQi plugin loads faster in the WP admin area. Overall speed is improved by more than 30%.
  • Products now support inquiry features. Users can add multiple products to an inquiry list, admins can reply to inquiries and edit inquiry status, and customers can view their inquiry list and status in the user center.
  • Three new article module UIs have been added, mainly for download-style content.
  • The lightbox component has been replaced and now supports zooming on mobile.
  • MCP support has been added. You can now connect your site to MCP-compatible tools such as Claude Code and Codex, then generate content through conversation. It covers articles, posts, documents, links, products, and more, with multilingual support. Tutorial: https://guaqi.com/docs/76367

If you install a poster skill and a human-writing skill in the AI tool that uses MCP, the generated results are usually better. You can search for suitable tools yourself, or ask AI to help you choose. Later, I will also try connecting the builder to MCP, so AI can further help with page layout.
