Inner Scales 1: Choice is a first-person video game set in an isolated, sealed cell. It pushes survival, humanity, emotion and moral dilemmas to their limits. You will face surveillance, a cage and the fates of eight imprisoned women — every choice you make decides who lives and who dies.
Background Story
Zhang Cheng, a fresh graduate who has just started his first job, takes on a mysterious assignment outside the city to secure his full-time position and earn some extra cash: work as a delivery driver for four days under strict isolation, no phone allowed, 1000 RMB per day. He assumes it is just a side gig, but it leads him into a heavily guarded, prison-like building on the outskirts of town.
There, he delivers meals and takes measurements from eight women he has never met on the second floor, and slowly realizes that every one of them has been kidnapped. The entire building is under tight surveillance, the walls are wired with high-voltage electricity, and corpses in uniform prison garb lie half-buried in the corners.
The mysterious shadow who controls everything never shows itself in person, only issuing cold-blooded orders. As the four-day deadline approaches, Zhang Cheng finally sees the truth: this organization never intended to let anyone leave, and he himself has long been part of this twisted game.
He can follow the rules, finish the four days, take the money and walk away, leaving the eight women at the mercy of their fate.
Or he can defy the orders, risking his life, and use the delivery cart that can only hide one person to make the hardest choice of his life:
Who to save? Who to abandon?
For whom are you willing to stake your life?
